🚀 ABC Plugin Updates: Global Controls Management, Reset, and Import/Export Are Here!

We’ve just released a major update for Advanced Block Controls (ABC). Version 1.8 for the free version and 1.5 for the pro version are now live. These updates focus on improving efficiency, saving time, and making block management in Gutenberg more practical for your everyday work.

✅ Free Version 1.8 – Key Improvements

Global Control Management

Managing block controls one by one is no longer necessary. You can now edit controls globally for both core blocks and custom blocks.

Instead of repeating the same task for each individual block, simply open the Controls Manager, select either “Core Blocks” or “Custom Blocks,” and apply your settings once. Whether you want to disable unused controls, reorder them, or enable new ones, your choices will be reflected across all blocks of that type.

This makes it much faster to create consistent editing environments and helps avoid the repetitive setup work that used to slow things down.

Reset Controls to Defaults

Sometimes, after many edits, you might want to return to a clean slate. The new Reset feature in the Controls Manager allows you to quickly restore all control settings to their original defaults with a single click.

If your current setup isn’t working out or you simply want to start over, this option gives you a quick and reliable way to do so.

🔒 Pro Version 1.5 – New Feature for Power Users

Import & Export Control Settings

Many of you asked for a way to reuse control configurations across multiple websites, and it’s finally here. You can now export your current settings from the Controls Manager and import them on any other site running ABC Pro.

This is especially useful if you have a preferred setup you use across projects. It also allows you to back up your configurations before making big changes.

This release completes the first phase of our roadmap, which focused on foundational usability improvements.

We’re now moving to Phase Two, where we’ll start building more advanced styling features. These will give you even more control over block appearance and layout without adding unnecessary complexity.
